Challenge #9: Update!

We have a good number of people who claimed prompts this month in our latest challenge, but the deadline for posting is only a little over a week away. A couple people asked and IMHO there's no reason not to extend the deadline to December 30th, since it doesn't look like anyone's posted their story yet. If anyone has a problem with that, PM me.

Otherwise, please try to get your stories posted by December 30th. Remember, there is a contest going on and everyone who posts will get something extra nice!

Looking forward to reading! Thanks to everyone who has responded so far. If you missed this challenge and really, really want to take a prompt, there are a few left and it would be great to see them done, so feel free. Just comment to the original post and I'll take care of it.

I'm at just under 10K and Dean doesn't seem to want to stop telling me things. But I will have it done and posted by the 15th, as planned.

However, I certainly don't mind an extension to the deadline. This is a busy time of year, and that makes sense to me. :-)

Wow - a really long one? And you just did NaNo! What is it about cooler weather that gets the creative juices flowing? Lately I'm missing meals and/or eating at the keyboard (which can get messy)!

Congratulations - and I think the earlier people post, the longer people will have to comment. Which means, literally the early birds may well get some tasty treats! LOL

And talky eleven-year-old Dean, no less. Really. This is pretty far outside my usual zone, but I'm enjoying the discomfort, if that makes any sense.

And that's a really good point about posting early! Woot! Lol!
